What is dermabrasion?

It is the removal of dead tissue (epidermis) so there is a new generation of epidermis and with this we can improve scars from wounds, acne and at the same time produce a retraction and rejuvenation of the skin.

Does the perioral region line expression get enhanced?

Yes, it improves perioral lines and the general appearance of the lips.

Can I speak, eat and smoke after my procedure?

Yes, you can eat and you can talk but you must not smoke.

Can some wrinkles or my acne effects remain after dermabrasion?

Yes, if there are wrinkles or depressions that are too deep, they may require a second procedure, at least 6 to 12 months after the first one. But overall, there is always achieved a remarkable improvement with a single procedure.

Can I take out the crusted wound (scab) myself?

NO, the same organism determines when the scab should fall. This usually occurs between 7 to 14 days, depending on dermabrasion depth.
